Red Bull's The Blue Edition in blueberry was reportedly discontinued in early 2026, and fans were upset enough that petitions popped up to bring it back. Somehow, I got my hands on a can. Two things you should know before we start: I absolutely love any blueberry or blue raspberry flavor, and I absolutely hate Red Bull. So this was going to be interesting.

Was Red Bull Blue Edition Discontinued?
Sporked reported an internal Red Bull announcement that the Blue Edition would end in early 2026, with remaining stock selling through. Red Bull hasn't made a big public statement about it, but its US lineup now features the Sea Blue Edition instead. Some stores may still have leftover cans of the original blueberry, and fans have started Change.org petitions asking Red Bull to bring it back.

How Does It Taste?
So why is it so hyped up? It even looks like a blueberry when you pour it. It tastes like a fresh blueberry and it's kind of refreshing, so I can see why people like it. But for me personally, I don't think it's anything special. I gave it a 5 out of 10, and honestly, I don't think Red Bull made a mistake getting rid of it. Watch my taste test.

Bottom Line
Red Bull The Blue Edition is a blueberry energy drink with 110 calories, 27 grams of sugar and 80 mg of caffeine per 8.4 oz can, and it was reportedly discontinued in early 2026. It tastes like fresh blueberry, but it's a 5 out of 10 for me, so I wouldn't chase down the last cans.
