Why Standards Matter
This site exists because the supplement industry is full of misleading marketing, underdosed formulas, and reviews you can't trust. The point of publishing standards is simple: so you can hold me to them. If a review here ever drifts from what's below, call it out.
Editorial Independence
Every brand and product reviewed on Whatsuppwithlucas goes through the same process, regardless of whether the content is sponsored, affiliate-supported, or independently published. Sponsors do not see reviews before they go live. Sponsors do not approve scripts. Sponsors do not get veto power.
The Review Process
- Label check, full ingredient panel reviewed for transparency, proprietary blends, and dosing.
- Ingredient breakdown, each active ingredient evaluated against published research and clinical dosing.
- Personal testing, product used as directed for a representative period before review.
- Honest score, products are graded on formulation, dosing, transparency, taste & mixability (where applicable), and value.
See the full breakdown on the How We Review page.
What I Will Not Do
- I will not give a positive review in exchange for payment or product.
- I will not hide negative findings to protect a brand relationship.
- I will not review a product I have not personally tested.
Sources & Citations
When a review makes a research-backed claim, about a dose, a mechanism, a safety concern, that claim is tied to a published source. Marketing claims that can't be sourced get flagged as marketing claims, not facts.
Conflicts of Interest
Active brand partnerships, paid sponsorships, and ongoing affiliate relationships are disclosed in-line at the point of relevance, on the post, the video, or the page. A list of current brand partners is available on request.
Updates & Revisions
Supplement formulas change. So do my opinions when I get new information. Reviews may be updated, revised, or removed as warranted. Material changes are noted with a dated update at the top of the page.
