What it is & how it works

Wax-matrix tablet delays β-alanine release, reducing paresthesia and allowing larger per-dose loads. Same carnosine-loading endpoint as standard β-alanine. A 2023 RCT in adults aged 60–80 also measured cognitive endpoints (MoCA, Stroop).

Dosage

The clinically studied dose is 600 mg × 4/day = 2.4 g/day for 10+ weeks.On labels you'll typically see 1.6 g × 2/day (≈2.4 g/day).

What the research shows

Picked over standard β-alanine when formulators want higher per-dose loading without paresthesia, or are formulating for older adults, citing the 2023 Ostfeld RCT.
